I’m DeShawna. I photograph love the way it feels, not just how it looks. My approach is all about capturing the quiet moments, the real connection, the emotion behind the image. I’ve been told I have a gift for making people feel truly seen and deeply cared for, and that’s everything to me.

I’ve spent the past seventeen years behind the lens, learning not just how to take a photo, but how to feel one. For the past six years, I’ve had the joy of working alongside Disney Fairytale Weddings, and somewhere along the way, I completely fell in love with love. I was drawn to the quiet promises, the teary-eyed vows, the way two people look at each other when it’s all becoming real. It didn’t take long before I realized this wasn’t just a job for me, it was heart work.

Now, I get to step into some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives and preserve them with care and intention. I work with sentimental couples who want more than just pretty photos; they want something honest, intimate, and lasting. I don’t just take photographs. I preserve feeling.
